Big jobs don’t usually fail on the building. They fail on the budget drifting, the dates slipping, and nobody being clearly in charge. These three things get settled first.
You get a fixed written price after Avi has walked the whole house with you. Older Waikato homes hide things — wiring, framing, moisture — so anything genuinely unexpected gets shown to you and priced before it’s touched.
Every stage has a date, agreed before we start. You’ll know which rooms are unusable and when, so you can decide what to live around and what to move out for.
We don’t run your job in the gaps between other people’s. It gets finished before we move on.

Usually yes, for part of it. At the quote Avi will tell you honestly which stages are liveable and which ones aren’t, so you can plan rather than find out on the day.
Where the work needs a building consent, that gets identified at quote stage and arranged — along with any licensed trades the job requires. It’s priced in, not sprung on you later.
Staged against the work, agreed in writing before we start. No large deposit up front for materials that haven’t been ordered.
We work across Hamilton, Waipa, Ōtorohanga and Matamata-Piako. If you’re just outside that, call Avi on 022 587 2998 and ask — the answer is often yes.
No. Avi is the owner and he’s the one who does the work, so the site visit is him looking at the job and telling you what it will take. If the price doesn’t suit you, that’s genuinely fine.
